Spring, um, break…
Since I know you’re all dying for a few details from our recent Spring Break adventure, let’s review:
- 1 bad haircut (me)
- 4 separate kid puke episodes
- 20+ hours in the van
- 1 period, 5 days early, complete with…
- 1 humongous raging boil, smack in the middle of my face
- 1 duck through a plate glass window
- 16 people for Easter brunch
- 6 dozen eggs to help color
- 1 smashing into the in-laws’ van (yes, by me)
- 506 unread posts in my blog feed (seriously, Apartment Therapy, slow down!)
- 5 different types of weather on Easter Sunday (rain, snow, sleet, hail, sun… no, I am not lying!)
- 3 bazillion pounds of candy
- many sleepless nights
This was not the most restful of holidays. I think next time we’ll all just stay home and sit and stare at one another.Spring “break” indeed…
