Ok, so I’m not one of those salt & pepper shaker people. You know, the collecting type. I have maybe three sets in the house: one, a very functional Oxo set; one that’s more for company (although we rarely remember to use them when the rare day rolls around that we have company); and then this Lilliput set from Alessi (which we also rarely use but I *lurve*).Â
So now (of course!) Alessi has done it to me again with the cute, plasticky things with faces. This time in the form of a set of S&P monkeys. And not just monkeys — monkeys on a banana boat flume ride!Â
You know the best part about these things I love from Alessi? The fact that I get to buy toys for ME, and then leave them sitting around in plain view. Because they’re not really toys, right? They’re functional household objects… that make me smile.
