drumroll please…
Ok, I don’t know if the ads just aren’t that great anymore or I’m getting crotchety in my old age, but color me underwhelmed. I do  have to asterisk this with the fact that I did not watch the entire game, so I didn’t see the last quarter’s worth of ads (darn kids and their “bedtimes.” Whatever). But I have watched them since. I have to say that my favorite this year was the Unexpected Obstacles Bridgestone ad.  Ok, I know it didn’t win with the “experts,” but it was the only one to make me actually LOL (seriously, how can you NOT laugh when someone guns his car for Richard Simmons?!).
My other winners (and by “winners” I mean they elicited a half-snicker but were only slightly better than “meh”): Coke’s  Stewie & Underdog Balloons, T-Mobile’s Fave5, Tide-to-Go’s Interview, the Bud Light No Longer Available ads.Â
